It is recommended to use COPRA?as User with local administrator rights.

of the Power User group and the following changes need to be done.- {& a2 m4 w& F1 |5 P0 M

The following 3 steps are necessary to give a user the rights to work as
/ }( l8 T0 {# T& H) h7 f- i' [: m+ Cpower user (main user)with COPRA:

1. Disable simple file sharing) F2 k7 g7 L6 O: r' }0 W+ W
Open "My Computer" or the Windows "explorer", click in the menu bar "Tools" 6 A: `' y1 c, c6 M
and choose "Folder options". You will the option "Simple file sharing (recommended)"
2 o" U \5 z$ V# Uin the index card "View". Disable this option. M9 ~/ J, M+ s& n! w
4 O! I4 t; N' j
2. Execute CopraRights.bat
; G% j& ^8 F3 H4 \ fBrowse for the file CopraRights.bat in the COPRA installation directory
0 \- p1 I# F6 u1 Q" {in Windows explorer (e.g. C:/Program Files/COPRA2005) and double click it.5 V: ?( l7 G# Z9 G( ^
You will be asked for the name of the User who will use COPRA?
% Z: s; o/ o: q4 m% C4 P; F7 NEnter the name of the user and confirm with Return.9 O. ?% z7 M) Q/ a) h0 S, a" W. f8 C
* K2 G& k8 K) |2 B% Y; J l' V; `
3. Give the User access to the registry of the computer8 d& q" ~ |! ?
Click on the Windows "Start" menu select "run..." next enter "regedt32" / {8 B# y5 f8 ^9 s$ C
and confirm with OK. The Registry Editor will open.9 w1 c: X6 y% |, Z/ m* v
8 T4 a7 I3 l6 {' y8 w5 L/ ?! R xBrowse in
5 Y& P, `3 o: O9 f3 iHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Microsoft SQL Server for the folder COPRADB.
/ n8 O* p! z6 w! UA right mouse key click on this folder opens a context menu - choose the option
* Y1 U; T H6 U+ K( i"permissions". Add either a Power User group or simply the desired User and give him 4 L f% z& n) W' D$ C' g% u
Read-only access.

Now the desired Power User should be have the necessary rights to run COPRA. |
