ADO3 type superlattice phase is formed around the Sendust compositionwith extraordinary high permeabilities. Table 1.1. [MY37] and Fig. 1.3. [OM51]display some properties and the crystal structure of the Sendust alloys. Zaimovskyand Selissky have studied the origin of the high permeabilities of alloys inthe Fe-Si-Al system and found that both magnetostriction and magnetocrystallineanisotropy are very low for Sendust alloys, as indicated in Fig. 1.4.
