Issue Desc:
6 a# S7 h6 A4 u/ a% yWhen startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.0 Q6 _6 j! t" @
9 Z0 X. U1 j p$ s* pTo resolve this issue, there are two ways:

5 O, ^5 `8 D/ Z" LOne way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.5 j3 P' @, u# p6 A0 u9 M, D0 I: E
>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
* x+ b, ]* l; m4 I* B# z>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.
* ?$ G! ~0 P6 s7 H! z7 a5 d! Y+ s. L- `9 t+ W
The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
: s6 ]' H, s9 C: ^" {>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
