When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

9 s0 S3 u; J( b4 @& J: eThis issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.

To resolve this issue, there are two ways:2 S" l7 [8 \8 q x2 e
- O- }/ G' _% G- f7 t( h0 X
One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
) v7 Y: J% k( s3 C; @>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
2 Y9 u% j3 i& }9 c# |+ ~>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.7 L* S6 m- L" f/ W9 l* _; \
/ U; p1 M& E, o+ G h! C) J& a1 NThe other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
' q. R6 M2 i$ {& I# @" ~, ?>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
