光学玻璃及护目镜可以使用铅及镉；

两个以上焊接口之微处理器封装跟其针头，可使用铅占85%比重的锡铅焊料，唯其期限到2010年；

溶解度较高的含铅焊料（如锡铅焊合金有85%的铅）及任何需要低温焊接以完成电力接驳的焊料。
