Area clearance toolpaths型腔开粗
Area clearance toolpaths are designed to rough out cavities, pockets, or other areas that can be most efficiently machined with an inside to outside toolpath. They are generated from a set of surface profiles that describe the shape of your surfaces at different Z heights, plus a set of offset profiles that rough out stock as the tool moves away from the center.
型腔开粗加工策略用于型腔等区域由内到外高效粗加工,算法沿曲面Z向分割曲面生成外形层,逐层向中心按步距偏置外形生成一系列路径。

Area clearance toolpaths maximize the amount of time that the tool is in contact with your part, and can result in significantly fewer retract moves than a standard pocket toolpath. Typically, the only retract moves will be when the tool is moving from one pocket or cutting region to another.
与传统曲面挖槽开粗比,空走和抬刀明显减少,一般仅一个区域另一加工区域抬到一次。

Toolpath corner rounding is available for Mastercam's high speed toolpaths. Use it to round the corners of the toolpath. This lets the machine tool maintain a higher feed rate and reduces wear on the cutter.
仅HST刀路适用,用于高速加工,可降低刀具磨损。
This feature is often used when roughing. It lets you remove large amounts of material quickly, without worrying about the exact rendering of edges.
走圆角常用应用于开粗快速去除材料,应用后无需担心拐角过切。
To activate this feature, select the Corner rounding checkbox on the Cut parameters page and configure the toolpath's corner arcs.
勾选Corner Rounding复选框并设置相关参数,及配置拐角圆弧大小,启用此功能。
  • Max radius limits the size of the arcs Mastercam creates to round the corners. A larger value results in a smoother toolpath but with greater deviation from the original version.

  • Profile tolerance defines the variance between the toolpath created with corner rounding and the original toolpath. The Profile tolerance is applied only on the outermost profile or cutting pass. The lower the value entered here, the less material will be missed by the smoothed toolpath.

外形公差定义为圆角后的路径与源路径的偏差,外形公差径适用于最外一层外形拐角,值越小,拐角余量越小。
  • Mastercam uses the Offset tolerance in the same way as the Profile tolerance, but applies the Offset tolerance to all of the toolpath's inner passes. Unlike the Profile tolerance, changing the size of this value does not result in material being missed.

偏置公差,原理通外形公差,适用除最外一层外的路径,与外形公差不同的是,大小改变不会导致漏加工。

Tip
: If you have activated Mastercam's 3D Advanced toolpath refinement feature, use the Refine Toolpath button in the Arc Filter / Tolerance page to open the Refine Toolpaths dialog box. Use this dialog box to set additional parameters to filter and smooth toolpath motion within the specified total toolpath tolerance.
要点:如启用3D刀路优化功能,此功能可作优化的附加功能,在指定整体公差内,优化刀路。
Notes:说明
  • Turning on toolpath corner rounding often results in a greater number of cutting passes; the actual stepover between each pass tends to be smaller.

开启走拐角功能后,程式长度会变长,且横切步距会变小。
  • Because Mastercam first calculates the cutting pass without corner rounding, the Offset tolerance value should be less than the minimum XY Stepover on the Cut parameters page . Otherwise, the corner rounded profile of one cutting pass could overlap the original cutting pass at the next profile, and no further material would be cut.

      算法先计算最外层走拐角路径,再向内偏置路径,所以偏置公差必须小于XY最小横切步距。
