When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.

One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
: K$ d6 ~, p7 _& [2 w; l( _* F>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.- W' g1 U' u& L
>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.. ]: P+ @* C6 l8 Z& Z8 {

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.; n+ E" V* O4 K! v% B- l! K W+ d
>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
