% o; O) L8 t: C7 _" _7 ~: Q! fdifferent parts of the world. The first chapter, the introduction, gives some definitions8 j/ V6 c' [, T4 a, e0 K
and classifications with some depth on the matrices and reinforcements for all types of+ ~; {* I9 ]2 F) |; _, @ \/ {( I" @8 @
composite structures, including polymeric, metallic and ceramic matrix composites. More
0 I }4 c5 L, v* A3 A5 v2 ^detailed information about constituent materials (matrices and reinforcements) is provided, ^! R: S! e2 [. O
in chapter 2. Different processing techniques of polymer composites are discussed in the7 |) d5 I: A4 |
following chapters, briefly: open mould (in Chapter 3) and closed mould (matched die)
$ E* @; d4 t9 o( M" Aprocesses, filament winding (Chapter 4) and pultrusion (Chapter 5). The book ends with
* k$ h2 ~3 ^# athe machining and joining processes commonly used for polymer composite structures.
