在国外采购的ASTM A335 P5 钢管,型号8”(219mm),壁厚8.18mm,国外工厂说合同中如果没有约定就不必做压扁试验和弯曲试验,理由是根据A335 附录说明及S3条规定压扁试验作为订货是选择要求,我的理解是A335 14条规定了压扁试验,那么就应该无条件的去做,英文我不太懂,哪位专家帮我落实一下。

14. Mechanical Tests Required

of pipe to constitute 5 % of the lot (see Note 7), but in no case

NOTE 7—The term “lot” applies to all pipe of the same nominal size

furnace; when final heat treatment is in a batch-type furnace, the lot shall% R3 w+ j( i( X! n+ U) Y
include only that pipe which is heat treated in the same furnace charge.

14.3.1 For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose

to the bend test instead of the flattening test. Other pipe whose
' {/ C' C$ l& p) F* `: |diameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test( w Z8 L4 ^. g; Z
in place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the/ N! H) B/ ^, p6 q2 ` G0 v N0 \
purchaser.
1 Y9 k$ S0 q5 ^$ E' o0 i14.3.2 The bend test specimens shall be bent at room
' ^0 l' x5 k1 W% ]temperature through 180° without cracking on the outside of4 u5 _! b7 m( ?# {1 Z+ A# H
the bent portion. The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 in.0 R$ f; N* i, {$ t0 |2 v) |7 M
[25 mm].

shall be cut from one end of the pipe and, unless otherwise6 w- F8 l" ~1 {7 H
specified, shall be taken in a transverse direction. One test
8 C ^9 ?1 K/ v* u( x Z5 xspecimen shall be taken as close to the outer surface as possible8 H) N( a3 G* d5 ~- ~
and another from as close to the inner surface as possible. The
. V6 x; a: d/ E& @$ Mspecimens shall be either 1⁄2 by 1⁄2 in. [12.5 by 12.5 mm] in2 O/ ]6 A9 Y% f9 U: {
section or 1 by 1⁄2 in. [25 by 12.5 mm] in section with the+ g! u a3 [ A% Q$ l: I
corners rounded to a radius not over 1⁄16 in. [1.6 mm] and need
9 u6 a- F# P' _; k3 b/ f5 b& K: {not exceed 6 in. [150 mm] in length. The side of the samples" ^: c2 K. J7 J- p, W6 A9 G
placed in tension during the bend shall be the side closest to the* F$ _) }( }6 {% p8 W
inner and outer surface of the pipe, respectively.

One or more of the following supplementary requirements shall apply only when specified in the

6 R/ t- H3 D' SS1. Product Analysis
; j1 R" ~' `6 Q/ Z3 bS1.1 Product analysis shall be made on each length of pipe.0 u/ d, G7 Z, w! a$ p
Individual lengths failing to conform to the chemical composition
" p# [+ X* B5 j9 Y( o' Srequirements shall be rejected.2 A* R6 N! ^2 b2 ^5 V1 L7 m$ z
S2. Transverse Tension Tests
( O) k/ w* U+ v3 uS2.1 A transverse tension test shall be made on a specimen
4 b) x+ \$ O5 Q3 t4 nfrom one end or both ends of each pipe NPS 8 and over. If this7 Q- ?8 F" `4 Y0 }
supplementary requirement is specified, the number of tests per
2 ~! B! l4 U. Hpipe shall also be specified. If a specimen from any length fails. S4 X- w( W4 L/ z8 o2 L4 P: W
to meet the required tensile properties (tensile, yield, and* b3 R; B5 Y( T# {: F& [
elongation), that length shall be rejected subject to retreatment
! ~1 s: j5 N0 b! d% {( Lin accordance with Specification A 999/A 999M and satisfactory6 r+ A6 ^, e: @, k
retest.( a# ^5 G) ^$ l; ^0 m2 k2 S
S3. Flattening Test
) Z9 ^* M3 n( mS3.1 The flattening test of Specification A 999/A 999M5 K, b* o3 ?$ s+ [4 t6 B6 F
shall be made on a specimen from one end or both ends of each5 U1 W# Y- y& C, l, t' [
pipe. Crop ends may be used. If this supplementary requirement
1 O8 o3 M" w3 S4 a9 E! s' mis specified, the number of tests per pipe shall also be2 o- ?( q1 \8 S+ Q' N. q
specified. If a specimen from any length fails because of lack
" J/ ~. _3 V) D1 t* @3 dof ductility prior to satisfactory completion of the first step of
, o# e$ d2 h; s" c5 k7 F7 }1 ethe flattening test requirement, that pipe shall be rejected
; J, F( r' ^. d+ Q' N( T8 ]subject to retreatment in accordance with Specification A 999/( ^, b) h% Z; u; w2 m G% K
A 999M and satisfactory retest. If a specimen from any length8 Z# ]# C8 G7 q( L# i( M' \
of pipe fails because of a lack of soundness that length shall be
& X# y1 A# b+ @- v7 jrejected, unless subsequent retesting indicates that the remaining
" ^4 R8 s5 c$ r+ ~: Y" L; Ilength is sound. The bend test of 13.2 shall be substituted4 h4 [7 a x, _+ k4 P3 z
for the flattening test for pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25: C6 B" Q/ {! `% j
and whose diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less. |
