请问：STEP203和STEP214有什么区别？

在NX4中，导入导出都有STEP203和STEP214两种格式，请问有什么不同？

简单补充一下。

STEP, the Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data, is a comprehensive ISO standard (ISO 10303) that describes how to represent and exchange digital product information.

  n4 f: U5 _$ o3 s# \6 d, T# bISO 10303 is an ISO standard for the computer-interpretable representation and exchange of industrial product data. Its official title is Industrial automation systems and integration - Product data representation and exchange, and it is also known as STEP or the Standard for the Exchange of Product model data. The standard's objective is to provide a mechanism that is capable of describing product data throughout the life cycle of a product, independent from any particular system. The nature of this description makes it suitable not only for neutral file exchange, but also as a basis for implementing and sharing product databases and archiving.

以上两段，就不翻了，应该都看得懂。简单说，这两个标准都是来自iso 10303，就是当初为了不同CAD（CAE，CNC）系统之间数据交换制定的，所以，他的目标是产品的整个life cycle，大概就是PDM那套。当初肯定是非常先进的，现在嘛，有点难说。

只是据说美国人用203的多，欧洲人用214的多。但203用的应该更广一些。

在CATIA中
输出203再用CATI开启STP,产品的设定颜色会消失

现在文件格式太多了，想起数据交流就头疼
