8.4 分级
根据下面给的判据，应将材料分成HB、HB40和HB75（HB＝水平燃烧）级。
+ A3 k9 r8 o- ^& P7 ^* s5 `( s8.4.1 HB级材料应符合下列判据之一：
  \; [5 S1 ^1 [- I8 [5 Ka) 移去引燃源后，材料没有可见的有焰燃烧；
, S. R$ M6 Q9 R2 h! A8 \+ m% L  }9 f/ Mb) 在引燃源移去后，试样出现连续的有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未超过100mm标线；
  e& v2 X' ~% ^% `% I! m- cc) 如果火焰前端超过100mm标线，但厚度3.0mm~13.0mm/其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min,或厚度低于3.0mm时未超过75mm/min；
- {  n+ }0 t) ?& m- pd) 如果试验的厚度为3.0±0.2的试样，其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min，那么降至1.5mm的厚度时，就应自动地接受为该级。
. t) [( F& {  H) R. D2 u# ?8.4.2 HB40级材料应符合下列判据之一：
0 F& F3 b9 T2 f% i4 Oa) 移去引燃源后，没有可见的有焰燃烧；
b) 移去引燃源后，试样持续有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未达到100mm标线；
C）如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不超过40mm/min。

8.4 Classification
The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
% k- \/ M" O& n# E! ia) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
: ^! Y$ ^% |( S4 p. H& r9 X# i7 T) Gflame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
5 j3 V: z  i$ o. Ec) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
$ c( h& @' Y0 `40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
$ C& m2 e8 V' a! q4 c2 h8 X! jd) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria:
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, it

c) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding

8.4.3 A material classified HB75 shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding 75 mm/min, if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark.

HB40可能明确了试样尺寸。HB可能不强制规定试样尺寸，所以给了范围。 薄的试样燃烧速率自然快一些、剧烈一些。
