The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
% k- \/ M" O& n# E! ia) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;/ T& u5 {6 O: l; C! p/ ]0 y' e8 M
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
: ^! Y$ ^% |( S4 p. H& r9 X# i7 T) Gflame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
5 j3 V: z i$ o. Ec) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
$ c( h& @' Y0 `40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding% w9 f4 O6 u0 P* U3 S
75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
$ C& m2 e8 V' a! q4 c2 h8 X! jd) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm& c6 O: f T2 j2 s1 C
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.; b7 R* l; w6 H9 I6 G
8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria: W& R$ `$ u& R. \
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;. p" V+ {# `' r$ a$ h
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, it
