Unable to startup Wildfire 4.0 with only the logo appeared then disappeared.

Resolutions:
, y* E- n3 A: ~9 E& A& h% GThis issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.

# ?. V- D& U4 W4 N1 x9 mTo resolve this issue, there are two ways:

2 G& K& {" R+ \4 t4 [! |( TOne way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
" Z+ y: g4 w4 R" L! X7 A# v>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.9 Z [/ L; m* e2 K9 r' B5 q
>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.

& [, _, {4 s2 s0 F! `2 ~The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
1 |* A6 f7 }5 ?! v- z% `>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
