When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.2 J. n; Z+ Q/ o& z. Y, Y2 Z+ @

To resolve this issue, there are two ways:

One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
8 q" A2 A- o' W$ k9 A2 p: b8 I>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder./ e6 [9 P3 t, e" P- g( N
>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT. D) e$ F* L6 f0 v/ _

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.3 L# B. B% Q* ^5 w! q6 C
>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
