ASTM A335钢管是否必须做压扁试验

在国外采购的ASTM A335 P5 钢管，型号8”（219mm），壁厚8.18mm,国外工厂说合同中如果没有约定就不必做压扁试验和弯曲试验，理由是根据A335 附录说明及S3条规定压扁试验作为订货是选择要求，我的理解是A335 14条规定了压扁试验，那么就应该无条件的去做，英文我不太懂，哪位专家帮我落实一下。

least 1 pipe shall be tested. For material heat treated by the

14.2.1 For pipe of Grades P91, P92, P122, P911, and P36,
; K  u# i+ f# S# d+ U/ NBrinell, Vickers, or Rockwell hardness tests shall be made on
. @( n  |1 e+ ja specimen from each lot (see Note 7).
14.3 Bend Test:
14.3.1 For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose
diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less shall be subjected
to the bend test instead of the flattening test. Other pipe whose
diameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test
/ i/ a9 O4 t" D: C; l2 Ain place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the
# E! F' ]& \$ r  s' g4 U3 Npurchaser.
( l8 y* w% T4 J5 c' R14.3.2 The bend test specimens shall be bent at room
' B/ n6 e) W- A4 F$ l9 Ftemperature through 180° without cracking on the outside of
the bent portion. The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 in.

$ J! n4 k4 B: N8 H( f14.3.3 Test specimens for the bend test specified in 14.3
shall be cut from one end of the pipe and, unless otherwise
9 t1 a) N& p# O# c4 p3 bspecified, shall be taken in a transverse direction. One test
# \5 l9 V. |+ K  Ispecimen shall be taken as close to the outer surface as possible
5 k6 c5 C( O7 d# Q- e/ p" x7 dand another from as close to the inner surface as possible. The
specimens shall be either 1⁄2 by 1⁄2 in. [12.5 by 12.5 mm] in
section or 1 by 1⁄2 in. [25 by 12.5 mm] in section with the
corners rounded to a radius not over 1⁄16 in. [1.6 mm] and need
not exceed 6 in. [150 mm] in length. The side of the samples

  k- y) b, e" Q6 Z, P/ S' T, qinner and outer surface of the pipe, respectively.

: }1 x  p/ A0 x% [0 s7 x附录SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
One or more of the following supplementary requirements shall apply only when specified in the
9 E) i1 d6 w8 lpurchase order. The purchaser may specify a different frequency of test or analysis than is provided
in the supplementary requirement. Subject to agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer,
retest and retreatment provisions of these supplementary requirements may also be modified.
4 U- e( V7 e( L3 V( vS1. Product Analysis
. j: _& B$ z" FS1.1 Product analysis shall be made on each length of pipe.
Individual lengths failing to conform to the chemical composition
+ f# t+ ]8 H; D/ K8 w" wrequirements shall be rejected.
S2. Transverse Tension Tests
S2.1 A transverse tension test shall be made on a specimen
: P% o& P: y' R+ Z1 ~from one end or both ends of each pipe NPS 8 and over. If this

' a, U+ |! j6 q$ hpipe shall also be specified. If a specimen from any length fails
8 ^, O( K% z+ x7 [; e0 ^to meet the required tensile properties (tensile, yield, and
elongation), that length shall be rejected subject to retreatment
  r& p. ?" t0 J$ u/ Win accordance with Specification A 999/A 999M and satisfactory
retest.
: J# }9 h* E% v9 n9 l0 kS3. Flattening Test
( G6 Z+ o9 E1 ^S3.1 The flattening test of Specification A 999/A 999M
* e, I: A- `8 T# |shall be made on a specimen from one end or both ends of each
$ i. c1 W! @7 Q$ D5 z' qpipe. Crop ends may be used. If this supplementary requirement
is specified, the number of tests per pipe shall also be
3 _8 h' m- O5 j9 S1 r9 Y* U7 B1 }specified. If a specimen from any length fails because of lack
, t. \* N- y: _+ t  Y6 ^! f$ e: iof ductility prior to satisfactory completion of the first step of
the flattening test requirement, that pipe shall be rejected
subject to retreatment in accordance with Specification A 999/
A 999M and satisfactory retest. If a specimen from any length
of pipe fails because of a lack of soundness that length shall be
rejected, unless subsequent retesting indicates that the remaining
length is sound. The bend test of 13.2 shall be substituted
for the flattening test for pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25
