There are two types of fonts available: standard drafting fonts (available on both Unix and Microsoft® Windows), and True Type fonts (available on MS Windows only). The standard fonts include: Simplex, Din, Military, ISO, Lightline, IGES 100, IGES 1002, IGES 1003, and Century.

The True Type fonts include all the fonts installed on your MS Windows computer. They typically trace around the border of each letter, which makes them suitable for extruding or embossing to create 3D text.

For this reason, we have made True Type fonts an option on MS Windows machines, rather than the default.
