根据下面给的判据，应将材料分成HB、HB40和HB75（HB＝水平燃烧）级。
5 b# `4 t% k4 h& y) \/ z8.4.1 HB级材料应符合下列判据之一：
! E3 _$ h* j$ h, H6 l1 Xa) 移去引燃源后，材料没有可见的有焰燃烧；
b) 在引燃源移去后，试样出现连续的有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未超过100mm标线；
c) 如果火焰前端超过100mm标线，但厚度3.0mm~13.0mm/其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min,或厚度低于3.0mm时未超过75mm/min；
d) 如果试验的厚度为3.0±0.2的试样，其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min，那么降至1.5mm的厚度时，就应自动地接受为该级。
+ J0 w6 `4 e' i8.4.2 HB40级材料应符合下列判据之一：
6 f& D4 T: r& l7 Wa) 移去引燃源后，没有可见的有焰燃烧；
# N3 |% |; C; ]5 O) x' @b) 移去引燃源后，试样持续有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未达到100mm标线；
C）如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不超过40mm/min。
3 L8 G9 n/ `) R8.4.3 HB75级材料，如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不应超过70mm/min。

8.4 Classification
' S1 O  {2 f: J) k/ n4 s' }The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
8 t5 O/ F1 e5 h: w6 d: @a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
9 E- w  x5 G. a+ F5 Kflame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
c) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
1 k1 ~4 c: H5 g% K) k40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
: x. a7 b8 V, _+ C, Ud) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
6 ]6 `! ]( q! a# M4 B8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria:
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
9 q6 |0 L( r, t2 x1 t8 H9 x& ab) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, it

8.4.3 A material classified HB75 shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding 75 mm/min, if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark.

HB40可能明确了试样尺寸。HB可能不强制规定试样尺寸，所以给了范围。 薄的试样燃烧速率自然快一些、剧烈一些。
