Abstract:
8 |1 m9 `3 h3 h4 D. i' }8 xTornado-type wind-powered water-pumping system consists of Tornado-type tower and water-elevating tube. The flow entering the tower forms a strong vortex which creates a low pressure region at the bottom of tower, and this low pressure makes it possible for the pressure difference water-elevating device to lift water. In this paper, the model test of the wind-powered water-pumping system was conducted and the results of the tests prove that the principle of the system is correct.4 W" r3 n0 j. y9 o/ U
