Issue Desc:% r% T; S- j8 L- ~( v. O
When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.$ _) b5 A' h7 I$ D
( D4 u' P, r! w( f1 r7 mTo resolve this issue, there are two ways:6 H+ z4 D! T$ U" I8 j

One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
4 M/ U \8 ?7 u' @6 r>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
' V ?! ?% d$ z>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.4 E1 k- Y- M$ o& I. L
" `6 H9 o) w" i; I9 B' Z( e7 pThe other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.& h1 M$ a8 o7 X3 m3 G) {6 M U
>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
