When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched./ Q( f a: N; w# m8 p+ D1 C

% M) }. m& Z, `9 SThis issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.& d$ \) M2 \( F% C9 s3 W+ l& }

To resolve this issue, there are two ways:
; z* o T5 e, T( f& w+ h3 }2 F- @1 k7 w( M! L+ Y7 ^) Z" ]$ c7 v
One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.7 d- K8 Q6 p! u0 ]
>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
+ W; }0 p# @# o& [>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.8 Q( E& l7 ~: z/ |* O# r* v7 D

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
; v) x' e$ t( S0 y- f. y>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
