Issue Desc:
2 S; O2 s) g; ^* x! i3 U9 c* lWhen startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.6 ?- k% C* H( ?( E
4 T% ~ c2 N$ B STo resolve this issue, there are two ways:9 r Y& |. _" R$ n3 O2 S. a0 F

One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
# d6 x% i; N" {3 D- p7 |>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
# d$ Z+ k3 ]' y& a2 v% a>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.9 z8 i/ |+ |4 K# E/ s6 Q$ y
) C8 P( s* s* Z/ a4 f9 i
The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
' S; R- D( ^* R5 S0 M" z: O$ S, X>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
