1. Disable simple file sharing2 r( Z; g' Z8 ? C6 N. H I/ o7 P
Open "My Computer" or the Windows "explorer", click in the menu bar "Tools" 8 n! w- Z ~" O! H1 _4 j1 f( r% f
and choose "Folder options". You will the option "Simple file sharing (recommended)"
2 ^ P) ?% Y& i* Z4 G7 Q8 c) m2 Fin the index card "View". Disable this option.
+ ]4 S9 O: Z. z/ ~' M {7 W9 Y, p5 M5 l0 a7 D5 k0 O( ^- V+ k
2. Execute CopraRights.bat E7 k, P2 b( |& F1 m: @
Browse for the file CopraRights.bat in the COPRA installation directory
) t8 b. }; K) q" D- ain Windows explorer (e.g. C:/Program Files/COPRA2005) and double click it.
3 v3 u* k* X9 j; QYou will be asked for the name of the User who will use COPRA?
b9 v l) q) x9 C$ m& x: PEnter the name of the user and confirm with Return.6 U) e" F# y. |& ]& @7 }
0 u9 I( n( ?$ }" [' `) a! ]( C4 C3. Give the User access to the registry of the computer, u. [) v8 G) t1 t$ J" k9 ^
Click on the Windows "Start" menu select "run..." next enter "regedt32"
( a& c6 k {+ Q$ [ M) N6 D0 W' Aand confirm with OK. The Registry Editor will open.
4 a: ^0 [4 h9 c0 r2 }0 G3 h7 J# z& A- w/ M6 w
Browse in
* j- m5 W: m5 {% i2 IHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Microsoft SQL Server for the folder COPRADB.8 K3 w6 L0 K# f* J
A right mouse key click on this folder opens a context menu - choose the option 1 b. L9 B. i$ u! v* D4 a# o- E
"permissions". Add either a Power User group or simply the desired User and give him
( e2 _$ S' O# URead-only access.

Now the desired Power User should be have the necessary rights to run COPRA. |
