[求助] ASTM A335钢管是否必须做压扁试验

在国外采购的ASTM A335 P5 钢管,型号8”(219mm),壁厚8.18mm,国外工厂说合同中如果没有约定就不必做压扁试验和弯曲试验,理由是根据A335 附录说明及S3条规定压扁试验作为订货是选择要求,我的理解是A335 14条规定了压扁试验,那么就应该无条件的去做,英文我不太懂,哪位专家帮我落实一下。

14. Mechanical Tests Required
" V2 M. a7 n3 e7 G, a14.1 Transverse or Longitudinal Tension Test and Flattening
2 {( F" Z9 B$ }: |; j8 TTest, Hardness Test, or Bend Test—For material heat0 C9 {' k  o2 v) F9 w
treated in a batch-type furnace, tests shall be made on 5 % of
7 a0 t6 z) E6 M9 @4 ^the pipe from each treated lot (see Note 7). For small lots, at
! o) I! ^# v& X# g+ \9 oleast 1 pipe shall be tested. For material heat treated by the
, ]  d. P9 c% l- z; d+ Z& y& scontinuous process, tests shall be made on a sufficient number9 j4 d$ X- s0 P$ {3 \, W6 f
of pipe to constitute 5 % of the lot (see Note 7), but in no case+ G, l# [- c" t- _* M5 e& }
less than 2 pipe.
! {4 A: y1 Q, n! }# oNOTE 7—The term “lot” applies to all pipe of the same nominal size
# j$ O9 @* M) p7 Y1 zand wall thickness (or schedule) which is produced from the same heat of
3 b) ]5 D; m& {; Asteel and subjected to the same finishing treatment in a continuous
8 t% l. ^& G( C- k1 Pfurnace; when final heat treatment is in a batch-type furnace, the lot shall0 s; n; A6 W! Q) X. l; f
include only that pipe which is heat treated in the same furnace charge.: x$ D" o* N7 l. B. _( ^
14.2 Hardness Test:
/ n/ y! E" `3 x4 ^- T( h9 N$ D. x14.2.1 For pipe of Grades P91, P92, P122, P911, and P36,  [; j: U9 p, r% x. H
Brinell, Vickers, or Rockwell hardness tests shall be made on
5 K* A# a, l* da specimen from each lot (see Note 7).
" D, C- k7 _( R14.3 Bend Test:
0 p1 Q2 l/ I3 Z  d/ U# C14.3.1 For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose
! h1 l1 ]9 q5 A/ f2 C1 r7 Odiameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less shall be subjected- p  B9 e# i+ m8 ^( ?6 \' ^/ I( P& M& }
to the bend test instead of the flattening test. Other pipe whose
+ Y) [4 |% h0 O( [. Rdiameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test/ d- g7 U$ _; u5 I" k) s4 K+ U
in place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the9 t8 J+ s/ h) L
purchaser.2 O: U" s; j; ]$ }
14.3.2 The bend test specimens shall be bent at room
9 d% F, C& h% utemperature through 180° without cracking on the outside of
& i, q5 O0 p" F+ ~- b. }the bent portion. The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 in.
( y! `4 A! L$ r! ?, K# b[25 mm].; ]3 d5 o2 ?5 b6 `9 X3 g: P
14.3.3 Test specimens for the bend test specified in 14.37 {$ A: m! m6 k! F+ A6 D: r$ o# S2 _
shall be cut from one end of the pipe and, unless otherwise. |, N% E, |+ k% e
specified, shall be taken in a transverse direction. One test
# h" S, m: J& {! _specimen shall be taken as close to the outer surface as possible  I, l( l. @9 Q
and another from as close to the inner surface as possible. The
5 D- x0 v2 m& I& yspecimens shall be either 1⁄2 by 1⁄2 in. [12.5 by 12.5 mm] in6 D5 B6 ?' K/ f' ?6 D
section or 1 by 1⁄2 in. [25 by 12.5 mm] in section with the
1 `2 b1 t( ]- q, Q$ N$ vcorners rounded to a radius not over 1⁄16 in. [1.6 mm] and need* i7 E' s# f  C
not exceed 6 in. [150 mm] in length. The side of the samples
. t( c4 e6 I  {placed in tension during the bend shall be the side closest to the
6 _, B% K& _& ainner and outer surface of the pipe, respectively.

1 h3 m( s) z9 w" D' V0 v7 C4 [附录SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS8 j/ u, T! N+ o* n
One or more of the following supplementary requirements shall apply only when specified in the
" S% W9 e* l- r7 G8 t2 Jpurchase order. The purchaser may specify a different frequency of test or analysis than is provided7 Z5 b) h2 U8 k/ A+ g  Y
in the supplementary requirement. Subject to agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer,
4 g& `- X: l2 C7 q# sretest and retreatment provisions of these supplementary requirements may also be modified.* @' K6 ?5 m( |' k9 n
S1. Product Analysis
3 ^9 g/ J; b( s' BS1.1 Product analysis shall be made on each length of pipe.
. w( R+ Y" V* U/ W- d2 O0 P9 Y0 pIndividual lengths failing to conform to the chemical composition
# h, o1 v0 M0 P9 S# f% \0 {requirements shall be rejected.! h0 V) B- Z' ^7 R4 F/ O* [& w2 B
S2. Transverse Tension Tests2 h, }& Y. l# P0 v9 l$ {
S2.1 A transverse tension test shall be made on a specimen
& |+ s! i8 ?& afrom one end or both ends of each pipe NPS 8 and over. If this
3 N0 n! L- v4 T' `supplementary requirement is specified, the number of tests per- f" Y  O$ f3 u5 J- T* a  {
pipe shall also be specified. If a specimen from any length fails2 J" g; h& I  I  K3 K5 u( ^  u% [
to meet the required tensile properties (tensile, yield, and
% G$ ~, b6 e+ J( b0 Eelongation), that length shall be rejected subject to retreatment
! `0 F3 `* s8 w2 E8 [& Zin accordance with Specification A 999/A 999M and satisfactory7 e, T" m" C2 t0 s0 t
retest.
$ _1 r, o' w1 c! q; C2 LS3. Flattening Test
0 a! N" p1 H) D  o- L1 H& ]  \. yS3.1 The flattening test of Specification A 999/A 999M
& Q& \( }& \9 H  a0 P8 Pshall be made on a specimen from one end or both ends of each
8 P7 r/ x& f- Z2 T  epipe. Crop ends may be used. If this supplementary requirement
) c  J8 o' c% W! O9 w7 wis specified, the number of tests per pipe shall also be* v9 L4 o7 H/ A  u9 ?
specified. If a specimen from any length fails because of lack
( e' I6 z, Z! G2 O, L& ~% Q& tof ductility prior to satisfactory completion of the first step of: f7 ?& l0 x( \$ H+ T* a) K
the flattening test requirement, that pipe shall be rejected  s: D( j# K, m4 [3 @$ z5 Y
subject to retreatment in accordance with Specification A 999/3 `4 ?7 Y5 k( A% f$ s0 k4 f; e
A 999M and satisfactory retest. If a specimen from any length
% s# R, c* X' Aof pipe fails because of a lack of soundness that length shall be9 _! m6 `# G5 U- Z, C
rejected, unless subsequent retesting indicates that the remaining: c+ e3 l3 ]! g. H4 L$ ]
length is sound. The bend test of 13.2 shall be substituted8 z) E; |" i) J- A. H& M2 S: l' @- V
for the flattening test for pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 252 X8 {* z1 n1 [
and whose diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less.
