These materials are normally classified as either regular or oxygen free. The regular copper plate (C11000 or C12200) finds diverse applications for both industrial and commercial uses. The oxygen free plate can be alloyed through the use of controlled trace elements such as silver (C10700), phosphorous (C10300), chrome (C15400) and zirconium (C18100). Electronic grade oxygen free copper (C10100) is common in the electronics industry. Each material provides unique sets of thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties that meet demanding needs such as molten metal mold plate, vacuum systems, sputter plates and special chemical vessels.
