根据下面给的判据，应将材料分成HB、HB40和HB75（HB＝水平燃烧）级。
" |2 A6 j0 U1 R* ~+ g8.4.1 HB级材料应符合下列判据之一：
5 e' m5 F' Q! B8 P& _  T  na) 移去引燃源后，材料没有可见的有焰燃烧；
b) 在引燃源移去后，试样出现连续的有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未超过100mm标线；
1 f& U# \8 T- ~0 s; l; rc) 如果火焰前端超过100mm标线，但厚度3.0mm~13.0mm/其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min,或厚度低于3.0mm时未超过75mm/min；
d) 如果试验的厚度为3.0±0.2的试样，其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min，那么降至1.5mm的厚度时，就应自动地接受为该级。

a) 移去引燃源后，没有可见的有焰燃烧；
b) 移去引燃源后，试样持续有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未达到100mm标线；
C）如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不超过40mm/min。

8.4 Classification
The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance
with the criteria given below.
8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
. }1 g, G! \7 m3 n* ?a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
c) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
; b& p% d3 N# v! `, Md) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
6 [( ~* y1 T7 \3 b% ~& Wthickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria:
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, it
shall not have the flame front pass the 100 mm mark;
c) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding

HB40可能明确了试样尺寸。HB可能不强制规定试样尺寸，所以给了范围。 薄的试样燃烧速率自然快一些、剧烈一些。
