0 A- Q% @1 t& S2 H! HThe materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
' O) N4 [+ }2 ^, D( x, p9 Ha) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;+ r0 s5 z/ s7 [' n; X9 x# L9 f5 Q: C$ {- F
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the; o% M( E8 w4 r, C5 q. s+ i
flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;3 a! Q2 R8 j! ~
c) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding, e$ M7 v# v* r1 i1 ^% M6 ]3 [' [! e
40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding, H8 ^: c/ Q9 ]2 w
75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
/ g! V7 R/ S pd) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm( @$ {/ K8 p% }" j; ]
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
