This problem can occur when the system is very low on memory and the user attempts to use the hole wizard. If this occurs frequently it may be worth considering adding more RAM to the system.

Supplied example was a valid case of user running out of memory due to working with multiple large assemblies. Even after closing an assembly some application modules may remain loaded in memory for future use in session - Windows Task Manager does not include these against sldworks.exe process by default - show “Virtual Memory Size” column for a more accurate reading. It is recommended to switch to SolidWorks x64 if encountering this warning frequently - this will not have the memory limitation that is inherent in 32 bit systems. If user encounters the above warning message and clearly has available memory, provide a reproducible case to Technical Support - including full datasets and RX file. |
