When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.2 [5 f, ] e' [' i- y% ]: S% u

M* d; Z8 K! T- [Resolutions:
' F6 P7 d( W8 V& t' DThis issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache. e( I* m0 Q0 v$ a; b1 f7 `
! V4 p7 ]1 L- Y& N& ?6 b2 v' l ZTo resolve this issue, there are two ways:; Z5 X6 \" O; n" l2 ]
! c! i; n/ P( f/ j6 d) f: L
One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.9 h- Y* n7 w6 v6 j8 `) k' S
>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
U3 m' L& m1 b>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT./ }3 J' U5 I, C) a

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
1 S% [3 l5 e. }& T( \7 t4 m8 V>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
